Lung-Yuan Research Park established in coordination with the“Asia-Pacific Tech. Operation Center”-- National Development Plan in 1995. The core competence of dual-use-technology is ”communication and information”. The local industries can apply and move in Lung-Yuan Research Park for product development by using CSIST R/D resources. Besides, an incubator is set and sponsored by SMEA, Ministry of Economic Affairs, to provide the experienced consultant for on-side coaching . “Wireless Communication Engineering Center ( WiCE)” is established and opened to public in 2006. The object is to set up a National Level lab for wireless communication validation and verification . It offers the new technologies environment and test facility for industries to develop a new product and reduce time-to-market . The center is also own the first green building in CSIST.
